Judah’s been asking to go on a boat for quite some time, so we made it happen on a day trip to Santa Barbara. As soon as he spotted bubbles coming from the boat’s smokestack, he couldn’t wait to climb aboard. We sailed along the harbor taking in the fresh sea air and views of the waterfront. Ben was captivated by some sea lions resting on a buoy and kept calling them, “dog.” The Captain let Judah steer us into the marina and gave him a special sticker he’s been proudly carrying around in his pocket since. It was a good day.
